With a passion for assisting others and over 38 years corporate experience in the insurance sector, Paul is the Managing Director of Compliance Advocacy Solutions offering tailored compliance services to insurers, underwriting agencies, Lloyd’s coverholders, TPAs, claim service suppliers, claimant intermediaries, Insurance brokers, Insurtechs, Insurance fulfilment providers and others in the insurance sector, assisting them to enhance their customer experience through a compliance risk lens.

Paul previously worked at a leading Australian insurer holding senior executive roles in compliance, risk, governance and assurance. Since commencing his compliance consulting business, Paul has assisted more than 60 financial services firms in the highly regulated insurance industry.

Paul is regularly engaged to provide insights on industry happenings. Paul is a leading commentator on the impacts of the Financial Services Royal Commission, acts as an Industry Panel Member for the Australian Financial Complaints Authority and is part of the three-person panel assembled to perform an independent review of the 2020 General Insurance Code of Practice. Paul does this from a customer experience perspective.

Paul’s objective both personally and professionally is to make a genuine difference in the lives of others. Paul is passionate about diversity and inclusivity, and has a close relationship with Wheelchair Sports NSW.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Fellow of ANZIIF, Diploma of Management, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Member of the GRC Institute.
